I'm a journalist with 15+ years experience of writing, editing, team leadership and special projects management. Most recently, I was the senior culture editor at HuffPost, where I managed a team of reporters who focused on culture and entertainment. 

I'm an expert in producing and editing content around social justice, identity and culture.

I'm from Texas, went to Howard and New York universities, and now live in Brooklyn, New York. I enjoy lots of TV and should probably take up binge-watching as a profession. On weekends, I love to cook and a play bartender at home.
